Our expertise lies in the fabrication of precision-engineered mechanical fixation systems tailored for cladding applications, meticulously crafted from a spectrum of materials including stainless steel, aluminum, and mild steel. Our comprehensive range of systems extends to encompass all facets of cladding, offering avant-garde solutions for an array of materials including natural stone, foam stone, terracotta, porcelain, wood, engineered stones, fiber cement, and aluminum composite panels
Varieties of Fastenings Principles for Cladding Attachment
The mechanisms employed for securing building cladding consist of various components (such as angles, expansion bolts, screws, nuts, washers, etc.), each meticulously chosen to meet the mechanical demands specific to the project at hand.
Once affixed, any cladding is subject to two primary types of force:
Permanent force (referred to as the dead load), stemming from the weight of the cladding itself.
Variable force (applied loads), induced by factors like wind, thermal expansions, seismic activity, and more.
Two essential categories of fastening systems emerge:
Load-bearing fastenings: designed to withstand the permanent load and the vertical aspects of the variable loads.
Restraining fastenings: intended to counteract the horizontal aspects of the loads. These fastenings ensure that slabs remain in their designated positions as per the project design. Equipped with adjustable systems, they easily accommodate slight deviations from perfect verticality in external surfaces.
